North Carolina-native Solomon Fox is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose left-
of-center recordings combine funk-influenced grooves, lush vocal harmonies, and off-kilter
lyrics. Fox first began writing songs at age 9 on his parent’s upright piano, recording them into
GarageBand alongside his brother Elijah Fox. In 2024, Fox broke through again with the viral
songs “weird” and “you don’t cook,” receiving over 5 million views and attracting praise from the
likes of Queen Latifah, Erykah Badu, Ty Dolla $ign, Ne-Yo, T-Pain and more. His much awaited
sophomore album, Sweettooth, is slated for release in Fall 2025, boasting features from
Duckwrth, Amaria, and more. He has been featured on NPR, Spotify's Fresh Finds and
Vanguard, Early Rising, CLTURE and a host of other digital, radio, and physical publications.
As a producer, he has earned two Grammy nominations and one Oscar nomination for Best
Original Song for the Gospel-infused anthem “Stand Up” for the film Harriet. With over 250
million streams to his name, some of his production credits include Smino’s “Mike Jones” and
“Year of the Goat” which he produced with Thundercat and Groove, Emeline’s RIAA Certified
Gold hit “cinderella’s dead” which he co-wrote and produced, and over 100 other releases.
