Rising from the inferno of heartbreak with a determination towards gentility, humility, graciousness, and kindness, Rosegarden Funeral Party takes influence from life’s tragedies and spins chaos into beauty. Leah Lane fronts the band with a voice like that of the lovechild between Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux and her guitar playing has been compared to that of Daniel Ash. with bass playing that takes obvious inspiration from Peter Hook. With synths trapped in the loving arms of the 1980’s, rhythmic percussion and drums inspired by dark dance floors, Rosegarden Funeral Party prove to be the second-coming of traditional goth.

Emerging from an enchanted forest in the infamous Bridgewater Triangle, Alyssa Gallagher and Jae Yahkèl Estes imbue their own unique artistic sensibilities into apocalyptic doom pop music that is tempered with a grain of hope.

SUMMORE is Julie (vocals) and Justin (synths and production). In September 2022, after playing at an intimate venue in Columbus, they stopped for a late night bite.  As they sat parked, a drunk driver lost control, became airborne, and hit them like a missile. The impact blasted the duo from one side of the parking lot to the other within a second and changed their lives except for one thing: their dedication and love for creating music.

“We should have died but we had unfinished business. Maybe we’re ghosts that everyone can see.” said Julie.Despite their long-term physical and emotional injuries, they remain grateful for their survival, friends, and families. They continue to perservere in their musical journey.
