Night! Night! was formed out of a mutual affinity for articulate thrash and sleazy post-hardcore noise.

Pulling members from Mega ColossusSolar HalosGeekedDinner 1933, and Swordmasters of Ginaz, the Carrboro, NC quintet creates music that cites sonic and lyrical influence from artists ranging from The Jesus Lizard, Hot Snakes, and Iron Maiden to Egon Schiele, Carson McCullers, and Basquiat. These elements manifest in a live show and aesthetic that is equal parts technically complex and chaotically unpredictable, resulting in an unyielding aural assault that will knock you out and then tuck you in.

Small Doses is a post-hardcore/noise rock band from Western North Carolina. Their first self titled album was released in 2024 on Let’s Pretend Records. This year will see the release of the band’s latest effort, the “Rodeo” 7 inch, to be released on Snappy Little Numbers. Small Doses has no time for hate, ignorance or fascism. Small Doses does have time for you, if you also don’t have time for the previously listed items.

ZEALOTROUS is a political punk band from Durham, NC known for their rageful, high-energy live performances. Their self-titled EP received critical praise: “God damn this is some solid punk rock! It reminds me of the best acts of the 90s – Epitaph, Fat Wreck Chords, and Hellcat Records artists” (Issues Magazine).

Their debut full-length album “Quid Pro Status Quo” is OUT NOW! Rip-roaring single “Zombie” boasts “frenetic drums, ultra-tight rhythmic shifts, and melodic vocals that convey a contained rage” (Punkeando!). The LP is loaded with “thrashing combinations of skate and pop punk… at times there are lush vocal harmonies, and other times more of a gritty, attitude-driven approach. But no matter what it is, it works perfectly with the song and the music” (BuzzSlayers). The ambitious larger-than-life anthem “This Is It” even features an epic introduction by Neil deGrasse Tyson.
