Hailing from Blackpool (UK), Blanket have steadily carved out their place in the UK music scene with their immersive blend of post-rock, shoegaze, and cinematic soundscapes. Following the success of their critically acclaimed studio albums , Modern Escapism (Music for Nations) and Ceremonia (Church Road Records), the band have embarked on UK and European tours alongside Better Lovers, Slow Crush, Intersphere and many more. Blanket have also been gracing the stages of some of the UK’s most revered festivals, including 2000 Trees and ArcTanGent, where their rich, textured soundscapes resonated with fans old and new. Now back in the studio, Blanket have turned their focus to their roots, embracing the lush, dreamlike qualities of shoegaze as they craft their highly anticipated fourth studio album, set for release later this year.

After breaking through with their “Promo 21” EP (Over 1 million streams) and their landmark debut LP, One Last Dream Before Dying (over 3.5 million streams), Day Aches has emerged as a driving force in the rapidly growing alternative and shoegaze scene of recent years. Blending grunge fueled shoegaze with elements of hardcore and nu metal, the band has carved out a sound that feels both nostalgic, yet forward thinking.
Signing with Other People Records in 2026 to release their latest single, “In Water”, Day Aches continues to be a driving force in the Nügaze landscape as they continue to tour ahead of their next big release later in the year.
