Big Girl is an indie-glitter-punk band from Brooklyn. Big Girl’s performances, lead by the hot-headed lead-singer Kaitlin Pelkey, are surreal, heavy-hitting, and high-energy, with angular melodic guitar parts, ferocious vocals, and over-the-top onstage theatrics. The result is their own blend of biting punk mixed with intimate Mitski-like lyrical authenticity. It’s campy, it’s fun, and it feels like friendship. ex iguana is an emotive post-punk duo from Saxapahaw NC. They blend evocative lyrics and catchy riffs into looping hooks that constantly threaten to self-destruct before finding cathartic release. They just dropped their second full length album Tunnelvision which is available on bandcamp.
