On Dec. 5th queer movie night continues with a lil extra from G-Clef. Sweet baby G is headed to L.A. (don’t worry, just for two weeks) for a residency in screenwriting and we want to send them off in style. Before Stormie Daie and G-Clef talk trash throughout the very heterosexual film Magic Mike, G-Clef will take to the stage with a number, maybe a song and some jokes and everything you need to know to support them. G-Clef on stage at 6:30pm with prizes and performances. Film screening at 7:30. Stick around after the movie for the lil extra: We’re talking lap dances for grad school! Please practice covid safety as you attend!!!! QUEER MOVIE CRITIC NIGHT!!! 7pm doors time / 730pm showtime – yo queer movie watch party with Stormie Daie and G-Clef of the House of Coxx. This is sure to be a wild ass time laughing and joking in a w queer community as we watch and throw some informative shade at a beloved bedrock of queer popular culture. STAGE KISS DRAG / KARAOKE
Please fill out the form below to register for STAGE KISS – an open drag or musical performance night. We are uplifting creatives who would like to perform drag for the first time or any ole person off the street who would like to perform to music in a karaoke-esque format. No Wig, No Face, no problem! What does that mean? Great question future stage blossoms! Stage Kiss requires that performers only have a song to dance/perform to, a musical instrument or song to play/perform, and or any other musical and live performance desires that can be done under 5min ish. From Ballet, to Belly Dancing, to Country music to Cunty music and beyond. This is not a competition or traditional drag booking. Performers will be allowed to collect/accept/keep tips. Other than that this is an open performance call to wet your whistle and get you time in the limelight. We’re thinking a 5-15 donation… we would like to maintain a low ticket fee and encourage tipping. Low Fees, High fun. This would be free for performers though! “All songs must be 5 minutes ish in length or less. Songs should not be against Pinhook community standards. Censorship is not advised, but I will Apollo you off my stage ( and if you don’t know what that means DM me) if acts are disrespectful (ie chauvinist, racist, poor taste, etc.) or aggressively ill natured/violent to one group. Music must be sent to stormiedaiecoxx@gmail.com no later than the night before your show! Once you have responded to this you are in the show. If you would like to send two numbers, or more, please be advised we will prioritize everyone to have one song and then cycle back the night off if there is time and space. Also, help advertise! The more successful this show is, the more continuous it can be, and we can keep it going!!! We hope that this show can provide a space for people to let loose and have fun on stage, as well as maybe connect local talent to opportunities they didn’t know they could have. Thank you, and I look forward to you all getting kissed by those stage lights for the first time. ** PPSS ** after stage kiss we’ll be hosting karaoke. This is a mash up of stage kiss and karaoke – if you’d like to dance / drag / stage whatever to a karaoke song that has been signed up for – sign up next to the song! Karaoke singers will mark out the space if they just want to take the stage solo. This will go on until 130am! So stay for the fun.
