She currently runs booking at Rubies on Five Points, a 100 cap venue in downtown Durham & has done everything from booking, production, ticketing, & consulting. She writes and performs all genres but her current obsession is disco. Shes been in the triangle for almost 10 years and loves to talk about the music scene. AZUL – Musician Drum Team Collective – Outreach Coordinator and Teambuilder Tre. Charles The nomadic, self-taught, soul searching troubadour has effectively and dynamically been able to disassemble the idea of an artist needing to be accredited to be accomplished. With an old soul and a fresh perspective, he has cultivated soundscapes and wave therapy on some of the musical worlds biggest stages such as Newport Jazz Festival, TEDx, and NPR while simultaneously staying steadfast in his belief of authentic quality over quantity; and it is with that stance that Charles has acquired cosigns from the likes of GRAMMY AWARD winning artists such as Son Little, Cedric Burnside, and Hip-Hop legends Digable Planets and Arrested Development; of which he has been direct support on a string of sold out shows. https://www.trecharles.com/

Inclusivity in Law Panel / National Coming Out Day Celebration
The Pauli Murray Bar Association, North Carolina’s LBGBQ+ and allies bar association, and NCCU School of Law is excited to hold our annual Inclusivity in Law Panel and National Coming Out Day Celebration at the Pinhook this year! The panel will be made up of queer attorneys in the triangle discussing what it means to be queer in the legal profession and challenges they face with moderator Sloan Godbey, a 3L at NCCU School of Law. We will also have Durham’s own Naomi Dix and her drag son, SS Byrdie! Come join us for food, drinks, connecting in a safe space, and celebrating LGBTQ+ legal professionals.
