Femi is a North Carolina-born DJ, organizer, and lifelong party lover who channels her roots, her movement work, and her revolutionary spirit straight into the nightlife spaces she builds. With six years of curation behind her, she’s devoted to creating safer, soulful dance sanctuaries that nurture community, celebrate Black joy, and keep the floor buzzing with intention. She’s a co-founder of @_theconjure_ , a Durham-based safer space party collective that celebrates the magic of Black and Brown femmes, theys, and thems.

Durham-based Uymami is a playful DJ bringing her signature culture clash discotheque style: spacey percussion, disco house, acid Arab, Jersey club and freestyle, and nostalgic pop edits in multiple languages. Her sets are often peppered with doumbek, softening the edges with disco bell and tsifteteli. She is a co-founder of @moodboard_party and the creator of the DIALED IN daytime pop-up food and music series.
